About This Item

Pelican Books (Penguin), Harmondsworth, Middlesex, 1963. reprint. Softcover. Very Good Condition. the book looks at the whole post-war scene, and the author shows how the cinema are just itself to meet a new audience which approaches films more critically than before, but in doing so encourages new talent. At the same time she makes clear the industrial problems (in particular, the fight to coexist with TV) which are inseparable from the business of making, distributing and promoting a very expensive product to a highly unreliable market. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). The book is a good clean secondhand copy, with reading creases, some rubbing of the edges of the paperback binding, and darkening of the page edges.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 500 grams. Category: Film, Radio & Television; Essays & Literary Criticism. Inventory No: 0261734. .
