Chip (1 1/2 in. x 3/4 in.) missing from top/bottom of spine. Old library sticker to spine. Library bookplate to front pastedown (Belmont Town Library). Inked marking (No. 7) to front free endpaper.
Chip missing (2 in. x 1 in.) from bottom left of title page, which also bears the small stamp of the Belmont Public Library. Moderate foxing throughout, but does not at all obscure text. 304 pp. Feb. 1798.
