Inscribed by the author on the inside of the front cover to Gary Clarke (1939-2019; American zoo director; First president of AAZPA; Safari leader; Author), and signed "Uncle Marvel." The inscription is dated June 03. A letter is laid in from a friend of Gary Clarke's explaining the origins of that nick-name. There is also a letter announcing the publication of this work signed simply "Marvin." . Inscribed and Signed. First Edition. Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Dust Jacket.
