This is a very clean, very good copy of the rare first edition published in 1817 in Geneva. A few pages are lightly browned but there is no foxing and no annotations.There is a contemporary owner's signature - Calandrini, on the half title page. Book is complete including preface, table of contents, errata and alphabetic listing. XIV plus 518 pages. Nineteenth century unspectacular marbled hardboard and cloth cover.
