Gosse was a painter and etcher, pupil and friend of Sickert, member of the London Group in 1914 (with Jacob Epstein, Eric Gill, John Nash, Therese Lessore, etc.), 'conversations with Sylvia were not only about art but also about fascinating relatives and friends'. Boards. Illustrated d/w (the Gilman portrait). Covers slightly scuffed. Spine of dust jacket little faded. A nice copy. 28x19cms.
