New York, NY: Avon Books, 1982. The young marine lieutenant was fresh from the States. His platoon, cut down to a third of full strength, had a few gung-ho enlisted men, mostly they were short-timers just trying to stay alive until they got out. But the end was a lifetime away as the enemy exploded across the DMZ in the massive Tet offensive. 207 pages. Top & bottom of spine and rear cover bottom edge slightly rubbed. 1/2" crease on front cover across bottom right corner. slightly bumped too. Inside front & rear cover and outisde edges of pages are tanned lightly. Light scratch indentations on rear cover but no markings.. First Edition, 3rd Printing. Mass Market Paperback. Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
