NB PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - condition is POOR and ONE PLATE IS MISSING !! | undated, appears circa 1853 ( there is a note to ffep which stated 'published 1832', but this may not be trustworthy, publisher is Ward, Lock, though some plates have 'published by David Bogue' at lower edge | this is hardback in embossed green leather boards with gilt title and decor, measuring 7.5 x 10.5 inches approx, and comprising title page followed by plates with tissue guards ; originally 32 plates, PLATE 20 IS MISSING | other than title page and final plate, all pages are disbound (now loose leaf ) | plates 1 - 11 show faint tide mark from water spill at upper right corner; plates 5 - 8 show a similar mark in lower right corner; some plates show yellowing and wear at edges, but in all cases the actual images are clean and bright, suitable for framing or for rebinding | in summary, a compromised but still attractive and interesting copy of this very rare volume | carefully packaged and dispatched from UK within two working days
