M. A. Donohue, 1898. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12 mo., vintage hardcover, name on endpaper and pages very age-toned else VG. Binding tight, beige and green pictorial boards. Fireside series. 360 pp. plus ads. 5 illustrations, no date, appears to be late 1800's. Story opens with Rupert Holliday taking fencing lessons from M.Dessin, newly arrived from the Court of France. The year was 1702. Rupert goes on to achieve a great reputation as a horse soldier in the Nine Years War
