Basel: Holbein-Verlag, 1945. Paperback. 129p., 8.25x10.25 inches, text in German, b&w photos of cabaret acts, scripts, songs, first edition paperback with soiled yellow pictorial dj. A collection of acts and photos from exiled cabaret performers mostly in Switzerland. Cornichon is a type of pickle. Of note on page122-123 is Broadway-Melody 1944 featuring German performers in blackface and a song that begins: "Schwarzer Mann, schwarze Frau, In Amerika, Weißer Mann hat gebracht, Sie aus Afrika. Halleluja!
