Providence, R. I. & Charlotte, N. C.: C. A. M. Praray & Co. Very Good. 1898. Second Edition. Hardcover. 8vo. 75 pp. & a section of ads (xlviii pp. ) at the end, several with illustrations. Publisher's blue cloth. Minor wear at the corners and spine ends, a few cover spots -- very good. A useful compilation, including a glossary of terms used in the Lancashire cotton trade (added by the author for the benefit of American readers) . Possibly most interesting for the wonderful ads at the rear -- for textile machinery, steam equipment, and general factory necessities, including paint, and ventilation fans. Dinsmore Manufacturing Co.; Salem Foundy and Machie Shop (Elevators); Cahall Boiler; Metallic Drawing Roll Company; Mason Machine Works; The Lowell Ring Frame; Kilburn, Lincoln & Co.; Gorliss Steam Engine Co.; ; Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings. .
