About This Item
Carey, Lea & Blanchard, 1838. First American edition. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. 212 pages. Boards and spine appear original. Spine label rubbed with black spot obscuring some text. Corners bumped, top of spine frayed. What looks like a water stain less than 1" wide runs almost the length of the rear cover. Fron hinge starting to pull away. Small tear to title page where it connects to gutter. Boards bumped at corners, normal shelfwear. Last 100 pages have small discoloring stain at top gutters that does not reach the text. Overall, not a bad copy - I tried to note all the problems which makes it sound worse than it is. Photos available on request.
