London, Hamilton Antelope, 1970.. FIRST UK EDITION 1970, 8vo, illustrated shiny tan boards, 88 pages. Many black and white illustrations by John Lawrence, some full page. Set in the wilderness of Connecticut, in the 18th century about a little girl who lives with an Indian family. Neat name of Margery Fisher on front endpaper (well known reviewer and historian of children's books, author of many books on the subject). Otherwise near Fine in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER, not price clipped, spine slightly faded (lettering bright), 10 mm (½") closed tear to top edge of lower panel.
