Indianapolis, IN: Bobbs-Merrill Company. First Edition All . Hardcover. Very Good All/Very Good All. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Volume: "The Old Legality, 1889-1932" 458 pp. 1st Printing, 1969. Tight copy with very faint soiling on page edges. Light wear to boards and clean and crisp interior with one creased corner. Dust jacket shows rubbing wear on flap folds and hinges along with top front edge. Light creasing and corner chipping. Second Volume: "The New Legality, 1932-1968" 579 pp. 4th Printing, 1970. Tight and crisp copy with light wear on boards and light soiling on page edges. Spine has rippling, appears to be from manufacturing. Dust jacket is bright with light corner wear. Top of spine has very light wear, and bottom has light creasing with 1/4" closed tear. Light color of rear panel shows a little rubbing. Third Volume: "The Modern Interpretation". 286 pp. 3rd Printing. Bright, crisp, tight and clean copy. Dust jacket has light edgewear with a few closed small tears. All dust jackets are now in protective covers.
