Frontispiece, 11 double-sided plates to rear, with further sketches, maps and plans in text. Publisher's black cloth with gilt titles to spine in an unclipped pictorial jacket. Jacket is lightly sunned to spine with a tiny nick to top edge of upper pane. Near Fine book in Very Good jacket. In depth catalogue of the finds from Coventina's Well at Carrawburgh, most of which were originally held by John Clayton in his collection at Chesters House and which included a mass of coins, pottery, bronze and glass objects. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
