There are a number of reprints by Grosset and Dunlap available, but this FIRST EDITION, printed on the presses of a major playing card company to help promote their business, is RARE. 5 3/8" x 8 1/8" hard cover, 367 pages (including index), with no dust jacket. Overall condition is VERY GOOD. Pages = Very Good Plus: lightly tanned, outer edges moderately stained, 1/4" tear on edge of final fep, else tight, sharp, clear, with no marks. Cover (grey cloth boards with particulars and designs in red and black) = Good Plus: spine frayed at top and bottom, spine moderately stained, front has several stain spots, corners bumped, yet tight, square, clear print and color, no chips or additional marks.
