About This Item
NY: ALBERT & CHARLES BONI.. with no dust jacket. 1925. Reprint. Third Printing. Presentation from Stewart to noted film director Tod Browning. "To Tod Browning, a great director, with gratitude for 'Ben Hur' among others. Donald Ogden Stewart." The inscription is meant as a joke as Fred Niblo directed the silent version of Ben-Hur. Spine somewhat darkened else very good, lacking the dj. Browning is best known for directing Dracula with Bela Lugosi. His silent film credits include such atmospheric classics as The Unholy Three & London After Midnight. .
