Plaintext dustwrapper with white, orange and red coloured titles to the front panel and yellow, white and orange coloured titles to the back strip. Roag's Syndicate is again involved in a perplexing and complex plot; quoting from the front fold over panel blurb " ... In the splendour of its criminal objectives, in its criminal invention and, in its knowledge of the shadier and need of possibilities of the insurance business, it is a con issue's taste and it does have a perfectly good murder, though somewhat incidentally ..." Softening to the back strip edges with fading to the top back strip edge and a little to the top edge of the front panel. Age toning and noticeable foxing of the text block edges, with, lighter age toning and faint foxing to the pages offset tanning to the end pages. A little rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels.
