About This Item
London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1925. From Hodder and Stoughton's 2 shiiling series. First published in 1919. Jacket just lightly worn and chipped at corners. Fine cover art. Paper toned throughout as is usual with these volumes. From the front panel of the jacket, "Amazingly virile wild-life story". The term "cross-pull" is used to show opposite longings of the part dog-part wolk character Flash in the story. One spirit is gentle and loving, one is ruthless and savage. See p.164 of the text. 316pp.. Reprint Edition. Red Cloth. Essentially No Wear/Lightly Chipped. Small Octavo.
