About This Item
London: Elkin Mathews, 1914. Hardcover. VG, no wear, light soiling. Never read. Blue cloth with gilt embossed tree on fron cover, gilt title along thin spine. 64 pp., no illustrations. This was Weber's first book. With a prefatory note by Alvin Langdon Coburn. A very nice copy from old bookstore stock, never read. It collects 38 poems written while he lectured in art history at the Clarence H. White School for Photography. The collection is introduced by the photographer Alvin Langdon Coburn (1882-1966), to whom the book is also dedicated. This is the first trade edition, printed after a limited printing of 100 copies in orange cloth (50 of which were reportedly for sale).
