Houghton Mifflin Company. Hardcover. Good. H. A. Rey. CR 1947 10th Printing (hand-dated 1970). Good Hardcover in a Fair Dustjacket. Oversize red illustrated cloth baords. Spine a bit slanted, light edge and corner wear, bumped at head and foot of spine and corners. Name and date and small tear on the front free endpaper. Interior is decent but note some use: 1 page with light vertical crease, light flipping marks or thumbing in margins. Binding is good. DJ is price-clipped, edge and corner wear, chips, closed tears, rubbing, soiled. Colour illustrations by the author
