Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with bumping and rubbing of the top book corners and rubbing of the lower book edges. Fading of the back strip and to the top edge of the book. Offset tanning to the end pages with very light age toning of the pages. Between pages 48 and 49 the book has been over opened and the underlying stitching can be seen. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Creasing to the top dustwrapper edge along with some tears, up to 2 inches and small pieces missing. The rear fold over crease shows the results of insect activity. Sunning of the back strip with rubs, marks and stains to the panels. A little foxing to the verso.
