London: Jonathan Cape. Very Good- in Very Good- dust jacket. 1981. First Edition. Hardcover. 0224019910 . 80 p. 23 cm. Sound and square binding in brown paper-covered boards, which have some mottling. Text block edges have some light soil and foxing. Endpapers show offsetting shadow from the jacket and both pairs are somewhat foxed. The inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dustwrapper has a short closed tear and a little laminate lift and wear along the edges. The spine is faded. The flaps are both foxed. It is not price clipped. One of the Cyril Bonhammy series of books. In this one, Cyril gets a job as a department store Santa and the usual Cyril adventures follow. Pen and ink b&w illustrations by Quentin Blake. .
