A pasted-in plate at the front free endpaper has a short dedicatory note, most likely but not certainly by the author (it's difficult to decipher) , to one Howard Mills. A short note at the bottom corner of same, states "From David, December 1997". Very Good in Good+ DJ: The Book shows light shelving wear to the lower extremities; milder wear to the upper; the binding leans slightly but remains secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. A handsome, carefully-used copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing mild wear and minor, unobtrusive imperfections. The DJ shows moderate wear at the head and heel of the backstrip with several short closed tears at same; the upper front corner tip shows a tiny tear; mild rubbing to the panels; unclipped.
