Bound in likely early 20th century red buckram with earlier black and gilt spine label, raised spine bands, tan buckram endpapers, 428 pages with blank pages interspersed throughout for student notes. Modest shelfwear, spine slightly faded as is the top inch of the front cover, good hinges, sound text block, two small bits of tape to inner margin of title page, age-toned but clean pages, a few student notes on some blank pages, mainly in pencil, no names or other markings.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
