A man anonymously pays for an 18-year-old French orphan to go to college in New England. After years of writing him letters with no response, he meets her without revealing his identity and they fall in love.

10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with some creasing to the edges and one photograph with slight wear to the finish.
