About This Item
Gerald Duckworth & Co Ltd, London, 1959. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Photographic. 600 g; 176 pages, illustrated throughout with part, and full-page black-and-white photographs demonstrating various aspects of the golf shot. Gilt decorated spine, and facsimile signature in gilt on the front board. Bumping to the head and tail of the back strip, and there is a faint watermark on the base edge of the text block, which makes no entry into the text body itself. . "I have read the proofs of this book through and I venture to think that I get something from it, for I have read many Golf books in my life and sometimes grow a little weary of them. But this is not the old story; it is not, as the author says, a book for beginners, but it is full of wise hints for those whose education is already well advanced. He is naturally an upholder of the present day and is severely and properly down on much of what he calls "the old jargon" of teaching." Page nine Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. We are happy to provide pictures of this book on request Illustrator: Photographic. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Sports & Pastimes; Inventory No: 0221942. .
