VG/VG-. 8vo, red boards illustrated and lettered in blue (cover is of a hot air balloon, same as jacket cover, by Hickson;) [200] pages, illustrated endpapers, with music to We Three Kings of Orient Are (on fep) and Thanks for a Day by Eleanor Farjeon on rear enpdpaer, color and b&w illustrations throughout. VERY GOOD book / VERY GOOD- jacket: book has lt. edgewear, lt. browning to endpapers, owner inscription on title page, otherwise text is clean and tight; jacket has typical edgewear, rubbing along folds, chipped at spine head. This issue includes pictures of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and family photographs; articles on the Crown Jewels, space travel, marine life and tropical birds; stories by Enid Blyton "It Happened one Afternoon," Mollie Chappell "The Missing Masterpiece," Andrew Roberts "Kidnap Castle" and "The Greenhorn," and other popular writers; puzzles, verses and cartoons.
