It appears to be a fourth printing (1977) with number line on RFEP as follows: 77 10 9 8 7 6 5 4. Bound in purple and blue cloth with black and white Harper Novel of Suspense endpapers. The binding is tight, corners sharp. There is a 1/2cm split to cloth along bottom front corner. Pages are crisp and unmarked; edges bright. Price-clipped dust jacket shows light handling, edge wear, and rubbing, with general fading visible to the white portions. Dust jacket in a mylar cover. Synopsis
Dance Hall Of The Dead is the second of the Navajo Tribal Police series of crime fiction novels by Tony Hillerman. Centered around the character of police Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn, Dance Hall of the Dead is, like many of Hillerman's books, set on the Navajo Reservation in the Four Corners region of the American Southwest. Themes of the book include the Zuni religion and hostility between the Navajo and the Zuni.
