San Angelo, Texas: Fort Concho Sketches Publishing. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1974. First Edition. Hardcover. SIGNED by author on half title page. Limited to 1,000 copies. Fort Concho was a US Army fort located in present day San Angelo, TX. Fort Concho was considered by the Army to be one of their most important forts in all of the west during the Indian Wars of the 1870s. Although other authors have recounted the military history of the fort, this book recounts its social history and daily life of the people who lived there. No previous owner marks. Text, photographs, and illustrations all clean and bright. Dust jacket is price clipped. Dust jacket spine panel is a bit faded. Dust jacket has minor wear to edges. Dust jacket now protected in Mylar. Ships same or next business day. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author .
