Peter Davies, 1953. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1953. First Edition. 268 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Boards are bowed. Visible wear, water and ring marks to boards.
