Knox (Number 2), Jason Eckhardt (Number 3), and Rick McCollum (Number 4). Near Fine. Contributors to these inaugural issues include Glenn Lord, Dan Stumpf, Steven Trout, Thomas Reid, Fred Blosser, and Patrice Louinet on The Birth of Conan. Howard (1906-1936), perhaps most famous as the creator of Conan the Barbarian, was widely published in the fantasy pulp magazines at the beginning of the twentieth century.
