First presented at The Music Box on 5 December 1957, directed by Elia Kazan. Fireside Theatre Book Club Edition, 108 pages. Set in a small Oklahoma town during the oil boom of the early 1920s. Inge, 1913-1973 was an American Midwestern playwright.
