A. D. Worthington & Co., Hartford, Conn., 1892. 9 3/8" X 6 1/2" in handsome dark brown cloth with fancy blind stamping on both covers. Clear stain of some sort along top 1/8" of front cover, a little soil on back cover, but overall, very nice inside and out: about VERY GOOD condition. This book is a report of life in the late 19th century in New York City as seen through the eyes of a social worker, a journalist, and a police officer. 740pp.. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
