Caldwell, ID/New York, NY: Caxton Printers/Vanguard Press, 1943. First edition, deluxe issue . Hardcover. Number 71 of 100 numbered copies signed by Fisher on the limitation page. The first book in "The Testament of Man" series. Bleiler: Checklist of Fantastic Literature, page 115. Bound in full very dark green leather with lettering and design in gilt. Top page edges in gilt. Fine in fine clear vinyl dust protector as issued. Laid in is the original paper wrapping with Caxton label in which the book was originally purchased. The book is as new and was only recently taken out of its paper covering to insure there were no defects.
