First edition of the first of Dubois' three autobiographies. 12 mo. 276 pp. Blue/black cloth with green lettering and design to the front panel and spine. Spine ends professionally strengthened. Tight and square. Corners turned in slightly. Hayes Book Store stamp to the front free endpaper as well as an owner's name and date. Spotting/foxing to the top edge and fore-edge. No jacket. Scarce even wtihout the jacket.
