Large octavo. 589 pp. Black cloth with beveled edges stamped in gilt; gilt topstain. Housed in publisher's slipcase with title label to front.

A couple minor scuffs to rear board and binding is sound. Ownership stamps to front and rear pastedowns and pages otherwise unmarked. Slipcase with minor edgewear and scuffing, else sound and sturdy. A remarkably well-preserved copy.
