Henry Holt and Company, New York, 1957. First Edition (Shown But Not Stated) Copyright 1957.. Hardcover. VG/VG. 8 1/2 H x 5 3/4 W x 1 1/8. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior VERY GOOD / Boards Very Good / Dust Jacket Very Good. Boards are light blue with gold or brown flecks in it, spine and quarter boards are navy blue, title is bright yellow on spine, author and publisher are white on spine. Spine is straight, square, solid, has a tiny bit of sunning and thin crease on top and bottom free end. Dust jacket is white, lettering white/yellow, colour painting of Pearl Harbour on front and spine, and black/white photo on back. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has some age darkening on top and bottom edges and folds of flaps, spine is a bit sunned and has some chips off top dj edge biggest about 1/2 x 1/2 inch, back flap fold has a 1/4 inch chip, back cover has a 3/4 inch rip and white is age darkened and somewhat shelf soiled. Front dj flap fold has a small chip top and bottom and a 3/4 inch rip at top, rest of covers have minor edge wear. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, three bent corner tips, corner tips are worn so a point of board shows, no sunning, bottom board edges have some edge wear including a 1/2 inch L bit of rubbed edge. Page edges slightly sunned. Front end paper is a two-page black/white map by Palacios of The Last Instant Of Peace Pearl Harbour 7:55 a.m. December 7, 1941. Back end paper is a two-page black/white map by Palacios of Route Of The Japanese Attack. Inside of book is clean, bright, clear, flat. Book spine is broken at page 183 and about 1/16 inch of the binding can be seen, but no pages are missing or loose. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. No dog ears. While book was upright on shelf for many years, the book block sagged a bit and a few of the bottom page tips have a slight grey mark from touching the shelf. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
