About This Item

London: Belmont Press, 1999. First edition. One of 100 special copies (this is number 231 of 276 total: there were 150 in the standard issue, and 26 lettered with slipcase) signed and numbered by the author and artist Eileen Hogan, printed on Velin Arches paper by the Libanus Press and bound with a red leather spine, and including two prints (this issue only calls for one, the lettered issue calls for two) initialed by the artist, in an envelope on the back endpaper. A beautiful production. Features a special introduction by the author about his trip to Gallipoli doing research for his novel BIRDS WITHOUT WINGS where this story is set. Very fine and lovely.
