London: The Grolier Society, 1900. Limited Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, limited edition of a thousand copies of which this is number 405 (Edition De Luxe). Gray cloth boards with paper label on spine. Exterior shows quite a bit of spotting and loss to the finish of the cloth along both turn-ins, possibly from moisture. Paper label has chipping to edges and spine is darkened. Despite the exterior, the interior is in much better shape. No hinge issues in text pages are tight. Paper is toned due to age and there is some very light scattered foxing present6, though this is mainly limited to the end pages. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose. The front and page does show evidence that something was once penciled along the top which was later erased. No publication date listed (ca. 1900).

London: The Grolier Society, 1900. 9 x 6." 312pp. Beautifully bound by the Grolier Bindery (with their binding signature on front lower dentelle) in turquoise green goatskin featuring a pleasing gilt and onlay pattern on both covers comprising ornate gilt vine work, gouge and dot stippling, and geometric shapes inside a triple fillet border. Exquisite large dentelles with stunning gilt designs and onlaid white pigskin doublure panels with additional gilt and onlays, marbled endpapers. TEG.
