About This Item

New York, London: Prentis Hall Press, 1991. Book. As New. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 9 1/4 h x 6 1/4w. A real nice clean 243 page first edition (stated) hardcover with 1 low in number line. Has nice black & white photo section. Recounts the Stuart murder case, in which Charles Stuart claimed that his pregnant wife had been shot by a Black man in racially torn Boston, but Stuart himself later became the prime suspect. This is a tale of a pathetically flawed man whose veneer of charm hid an emptiness that even his own family could not see and that at last drove him into moral eclipse..

About Warren's Books

I have been selling books since 1976. I am not a mega-lister that just types in an ISBN and paste a message of how great I am or how many books we\I sell. I list each book carefully trying to tell the faults and positives of our book. Most of the time I will tell what the book is about and list if it a first edition, hardcover or has a dust jacket. Photos of books are usually my scan and not a stock photo. If you have any questions, please ask. If you decide to pay with check or money order, please make it out to Warren Hahn, That's me!! I have about 5,200 books online with another 200 to list.
