Angus & Robertson, Sydney, 1982. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/Good. X, 174pp., acknowledgements, preface, introduction, sources, index of correspondents and general index. Text illustrated with numerous black and white photographs of the various authors talked about within the book. Black pseudo cloth boards with gilt titles on the spine. Coloured endpapers. The corners are rubbed and there is heavy shelf wear to the bottom edge of the book. The head and the heel of the spine are bumped. Illustrated dustwrapper showing a cartoon sketch of George Robertson and two letters written to him, white background black titles on front cover and on the spine. The front cover is grubby and there is chipping along the top of the back cover. This book is forty years of letters between the publisher, George Robertson, and the poets, novelists, historians ect. whom he published. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
