About This Item
The First UK printing published by Gollancz in 1975. The BOOK is in near FINE condition. The book appears unread and is clean and free from inscriptions.Gilt titling remains very bright.Mild pushing at the spine tips with light spotting to the text block.Minor offsetting strip to end papers. Lower rear board has signs of very minor damp staining - negligible. The WRAPPER is complete and in near FINE condition.Lower spine Gollancz logo faded but far less so than commonly found. The white colouring of the wrapper is remarkably far less yellowed and soiled than usually encountered.Very mild leaching of the lower rear board damp staining on to the verso of the wrapper. The McLachlan designed wrapper artwork looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. The First in a series of comic novels starring Reginald Perrin, senior sales executive at Sunshine Desserts. Subsequently developed into a hugely successful TV comedy series 'The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin' starring Leonard Rossiter.Scarce with such attributes.Very Nice. Ashtonrarebooks welcomes direct contact.
