Death Stalks the Night is a Very Fine Unread copy. The Door Below is a Fine copy, which has been read once with care. Both volumes have original black fine-grain cloth, in Very Fine DW's, protected in Brodart sleeves. Atmospheric jacket art by Alan M. Clark. Internal illustrations by Lee Brown Coye. Limited Edition of 2000 copies. Death Stalks the Night has a bookplate signed by Hugh B. Cave loosely inserted. The Door Below is signed by Cave on title page, with a signed and inscribed sticker also affixed to title page. Two of our favorite books. Highly recommended.
Synopsis
Death Stalks the Night is a collection of fantasy and horror and Mystery short stories by author Hugh B. Cave. It was released in 1995 by Fedogan & Bremer in an edition of 2,000 copies, of which 100 were signed by the author. The stories originally appeared in the magazines Dime Mystery Magazine, Terror Tales, Spicy-Adventure Stories, New Mystery Adventures, Super-Detective Stories, Spicy Mystery Stories, Horror Stories, Detective Short Stories and Star Detective Magazine.
