Translated from the German by Jean Starr Untermeyer. Reprint, published by Peter Smith, in arrangement with Pantheon Books, Inc., in 1976. Hardback. In fine condition. No dust jacket, but the hardback itself is slightly faded along the edges, mainly along the spine, and worn around the corners. There is a small inscription penned by a previous owner on the flyleaf. Some foxing and tanning visible on the inside pages.
