New York: Liveright, 1933. 298pp. Or orange cloth lacking jacket. Spine faded, cloth on front and rear boards a little damp marked (barely affecting rear endpapers), somewhat rubbed at edges. Prev owners name on half title, front free endpaper glued down. Not as bad as it sounds and an acceptable filler for this scarce early Sherwood Anderson first. The publisher's pending bankruptcy resulted in the printer refusing to release the sheets, and many copies being pulped making this title a high point of American 20th century literature.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo.
