About This Item
Various Publishers, 1970s. Three vintage silver gelatin photographs featuring Blondie singer Deborah "Debbie" Harry. Two are black-and-white promotional photographs, one specifically for her band, and one taken a little later (1980s), revealing a nipple before the grill of a Cadillac. The third photograph is a single, excised frame from an enlarged color contact sheet, taken for the debut Blondie album in 1976. All are uncommon images of the singer from early moments in her life, at once stoic, dignified and sleazy, but always punk. Contact frame: 5.5 x 9.5 inches, double-weight, blank verso. Promo photos: nip/Caddy, 8 x 10 inches, Blondie photo slightly smaller, both with borders, both single-weight and blank versos. Faint toning overall, contact with faint discoloration and tiny bruises at the edges, and light wrinkles to the Caddy photo. Original New Wave ephemera for mature, consenting audiences.
