Along with various pictures, including Walt Whitman and Union General Gordon, this collage includes a clipped, pasted on printed (facsimile) letter from Barton, “May 6, 1907/ My Dear Mr. Dale! May the veterans of the Civil War live long to enjoy the country their valor saved/ Most cordially yours/ Clara Barton.” In an oak frame, glazed, approximately 11 x 14.”
