Scribners, 1925. First Thus. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Original black cloth with gilt titles and a multicolor pictorial cover pastedown. First Scribners Illustrated Edition. A Good copy. Book has shelfwear, edgewear, bumped corners, rubbing to covers, soiling to covers, toning to pages, a former owner's name on the front endpaper, a tight split at the title page, a few small pieces missing from the first page (no effect to text). and a tear to the top of the front cover near the spine (about a half an inch). Plates are all present and complete. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.
