Editions D’Art Albert Skira, Geneva, 1947; First Edition; tall quarto (11 1/4" x 15 1/4"). Finely published Edgar Degas portfolio, an entry in the Albert Skira "Le Tresors De La Peinture Francaise" Swiss series on 19th century French painting. Illustrated four-page introduction by Paul Jamot followed by six individual full-page plates tipped onto heavy card stock, suitable for framing. All plates in brilliant color. Printed in Switzerland. Very Good Plus, clean, crisp, bright, corners sharp. Complete with the original protective outer glassine wrapper, which has a couple of small chips. All plates Fine. Text in French.
