The author's years of knowledge of the Pueblo Indians went into this fascinating portrait of pueblo life before the advent of the white men. Bound in dark brown cloth deaccented in black depicting the desert mountains and yellow sky and river, spine lettering yellow. A near fine copy with some toning to pages. [Reprint of Howes #B93, Larned #604 and Rader #243].
